Hiking
Surrounded by vineyards and dramatic mountain scenery, Jalón is a great gateway to many hiking routes on the Costa Blanca. From adventurous hikes, such as the famous ascent of the Peñón de Ifach in nearby Calpe or the spectacular Sierra de Bernia, to stunning coastal paths with cliff-top hikes overlooking turquoise coves and the Mediterranean horizon, Jalón area offers a lot for year-round hiking.
Cycling
Due its spectacular scenery, the Jalón Valley is one of the Costa Blanca’s top cycling destinations. The area offers everything from relaxed valley rides to challenging mountain climbs with stunning panoramic views. Thanks to smooth roads, varied terrain, and mild year-round weather, the area is popular not only with local cyclists but also with international riders and professional cycling teams, many of whom choose the region as a winter training base. "We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in Casa Valeria superschoon , keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt ook kruiden olie etc. Wasmachine met wasmiddel , doucheruimte met make up doekjes tissues alles was aanwezig.Een heel rustige omgeving met prachtig uitzicht.Communicatie met Annett was top. Je kan gebruik maken van een heerlijk gemeenschappelijk zwembad. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar."
"Absolutely loved everything about this Villa. Everything you could need was there as in a home but still felt like a holiday home.The views were stunning day and night. Neighbour was friendly and gave us some good tips.You can walk downhill to the village. Took us about 15 mins but is a steep uphill walk back so allow 20 mins.Two decent size bedrooms. The bed was comfy but we struggled with the pillows but this is a personal preference.To see the sights you will need a car. Altea, Denia, Calpe and Vilijoyosa are about 20 - 30 mins away. Loved them all. Altea beach was a disappointment as has large pebbles and no sand.Restaurants in the village were excellent value for money. If you prefer to drive then Cha Cha and Pepes in Alcalali are worth a visit. Opening times can be a bit hit and miss though.Our only grumble was that there are no sun beds around the pool. There is a small grassed area but this was not what we wanted.Other than this it was an amazing 2 weeks."

La urbanización es tranquila y en la piscina no había prácticamente nadie a pesar de ser el mes de agosto y las vistas desde la terraza son espectaculares. El pueblo de Jalón tiene varios supermercados y restaurantes y es muy agradable para dar una vuelta y tomar algo por la noche. Nosotros hemos ido principalmente a las playas de Denia que están a 30min en coche pero a cambio ganas en tranquilidad y temperatura un poco más fresca. Annett ha sido una anfitriona excelente. Recomiendo totalmente este alojamiento a todo el mundo!"

All appliances work well, the kitchen is stocked with spices, oils and vinegars.The beds are comfortable with high quality linens. "Ha sido mejor que mejor. Todo estaba limpio, ordenado y había de todo, lo básico y no tan básico, para disfrutar de la casa al 100%. Es mejor que en las fotos, las vistas te dejan alucinando de lo preciosas que son. Los aires acondicionados son una maravilla, las camas muy cómodas y hay más baños que habitaciones, el baño de la habitación de matrimonio es muy agradable por su luz natural. Todos los electrodomésticos funcionan a la perfección. Hay incluso un plano de la casa en la entrada, además, de facilitarte un montón de información para hacer turismo natural y gastronómico. La piscina muy tranquila y cerca de la casa, lo hemos pasado genial. Xaló está muy muy cerca y es muy bonito, además de que hay varios lugares donde comer bien. También puedes visitar los pueblos de alrededor. Le doy un 10/10. Gracias por abrirnos las puertas de tu casa!"

Jalón, Costa Blanca
Casa Valeria sits in the heart of the Jalón Valley, close to the region’s best hiking and cycling routes, with the Costa Blanca’s beaches a short drive away. Jalón itself is a small village that’s kept its own character — local restaurants, wineries and a Saturday market, without the crowds of the coast.
